Hinrich Foundation announces list of new Global Trade Leader Scholars AY 2018-2019

Thanks to the support of our dedicated alumni and team, the Hinrich Foundation has selected eight new Global Trade Leader scholars for the academic year. Soon, we will announce an additional four scholars who will begin classes this September.

We are delighted to welcome this batch of exceptional students to our community.  Out of hundreds of applications, we chose aspiring leaders who stood out beyond their list of accomplishments – they displayed intellectual curiosity, dedication to growth, and strong character.

  1. Vini Damayanti (Indonesia) –  Hong Kong Baptist University, Master of Arts in International Journalism Studies
  2. Cecilia Long (China) – Hong Kong Baptist University, Bachelor of Business Administration
  3. Kelly Zhu (China) – Hong Kong Baptist University, Bachelor of Business Administration
  4. Tina Wang Yue (China) – Hong Kong Polytechnic University, MSc in Engineering Business Management
  5. Froland Tajale (Philippines) –  Grenoble Ecole de Management, France & Hong Kong Baptist University, MSc in Entrepreneurship & Global Marketing
  6. Celeste Zeng (China) – National University of Singapore, MBA
  7. Zin Htar Oo (Myanmar) – Vietnamese German University, MSc in Global Production Engineering & Management
  8. Tun Tun Oo (Myanmar) – Vietnamese German University, MSc in Global Production Engineering Management

In addition, the Foundation will soon announce the Indian and Bangladeshi scholars who will join Tina at Hong Kong Polytechnic University for an MSc in Manufacturing Systems and Engineering Management under the partnership with Carrefour Global Sourcing.

Our other two new scholars from Cambodia will be joining Zin and Tun at Vietnamese German University for an MSc in Global Production Engineering and Management.
