Roger Li is currently involved in many of Shenzhen hardware innovation communities. Previously, he worked as Business Development Manager for Global Sources, leading the supplier and brand recruitment for Global Sources Direct.
Li earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the East China University of Technology and Science. In 2006, he started a career with Infosys in Bangalore City, India. Then, he went to Shanghai and joined HP as Service Consultant and, later, Project Manager for a global service team.
In 2010, Li moved to the United States where he earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management. After graduation, he undertook the management trainee program of Global Sources.
Li started to work at Global Sources as a Member of the sales team, and, eventually, became a Vertical Leader. After being rotated in the sales teams, he joined the Global Sources Direct team to lead the business development with China suppliers. With such position, he successfully built a portfolio of clients.
Li now is also the Chapter Leader of Thunderbird alumni in Shenzhen City, China. He is keen for the alumni network development and actively leads the chapter’s events.
