Requirements

  • Applicants must be citizens of Vietnam
  • Applicants must have earned a relevant bachelor's degree
  • Applicants must have at least four years of experience in a Footwear Production Manufacturing working environment 
  • Applicants must be proficient in both spoken and written English

Specifications

  • Successful candidates will work for VF Corp on a full-time basis while simultaneously studying an MBA jointly offered by Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Leipzig University (LU).
  • Scholars will also work for VF Corp or a partner company for a period of two years upon graduation. Work will be in a role and geographic location decided by the employer, and will be paid at local market rates
  • Should Scholars decline the employment offer, the full amount of the Scholarship must be repaid.

Founded in 1956, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) is one of the leading universities in Vietnam. The MBA in SME promotion (mba.edu.vn) is a fully-accredited international program offered in cooperation between HUST and Leipzig University (www.zv.unileipzig.de).

Leipzig University (German: Universität Leipzig), is one of the oldest universities in the world. The university was founded in 1409. Today, the university has 14 faculties with over 29,000 students, more than 150 institutes and offers 190 study programs leading to Bachelor’s degrees, Master’s degrees, Diploma and Ph.D.s. The program’s main goal is to transmit the patterns of outstanding German SMEs and successful measures to promote them to institutions and firms across the world.

Students can learn to identify growth and potential innovation inside SME’s, the development of innovative concepts for promoting them and generating positive multiplier effects on their business environments. The program will be fully taught in English with 50% of professors from Leipzig University. The MBA degree will be awarded by Leipzig University.
